Andrea’s cake legacy began with her great-grandmother, Mary Gray Bunch, the original “Cake Lady” of Crystal River, Florida. That legacy continued with Andrea’s Grandmothers, Helen Bunch and Annie M. McCray (a long time Citrus County educator) and mother, the late Theola Bunch McCray, and now lives on through Andrea’s refined private atelier.
Andrea began baking at just three years old, standing beside her mother, absorbing not only technique but reverence — learning that a cake is never simply dessert; it is memory, symbolism, and love made tangible.
