Founded by Andrea K. McCray, the atelier represents a fourth-generation lineage rooted in heritage, precision, and reverence for life’s most meaningful moments.

Her story begins in Crystal River, Florida, with her great-grandmother, Mary Gray Bunch—the original “Cake Lady.” Long before luxury was named, she created it—crafting cakes that marked the milestones of a community and set a quiet standard of excellence.

That legacy continued through Andrea’s grandmothers and her mother, Theola Bunch McCray, whose kitchen served as both classroom and sanctuary. Andrea began at just three years old, learning not only technique—but meaning.

Because here, cake is never product.
It is memory.
It is symbolism.
It is legacy made visible.

Her path extends beyond tradition.

With a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of Florida and a corporate career in Dallas, Andrea brings analytical precision, strategic discipline, and high-level execution into every creation.
